If you are inquiring for portraits for children between 1-3 years old, I allow those days to be floating dates due to kids napping schedules or for parents who need that flexibility when children are in between with their naps. Changes | New Routine | Fallbrook Photographer

Changes

As everyone knows I am expecting my fourth little bundle! With that, my time and availability will be limited. As much as I would love to be available Monday through Sunday, I have found I need to adjust myself, my time and attention to a newbie and get a routine down. With that my other three children who will be adjusting another move (a little bigger home) and making sure they are not banging their heads on a wall because their friends are not around the corner. Lol

Also, if you know or don’t know with many big changes adds stress to my oldest son Ian who deals with Asperger’s and I will have to really focus on making sure the transition is bearable for him. Giving him the room to express his dislikes, frustrations, happy days and learning a new routine in a new home. Plus in August we are heading to Rady’s for more testing and finally getting him much needed therapy and for us as well as a family. God is amazing!

At this point my availability will be Friday through Sunday only! My week days will soon open up once little one has a daily routine that allows me to work around.
Also BIG news is I will be withdrawing myself from photographing certain stylized sessions. I love photographing overall, but I can only handle so much and I truly want to focus on what applies to who Jessica Ann Photography.

The sessions I will NO longer shoot are Homecomings and Newborns! But with that said, I know some pretty amazing women who do shoot these styles and I will be the first to shoot a prefer photographer list to all client inquires who email about those styles.

Again I can’t thank all my amazing clients who have stuck by me through so much and Jessica Ann Photography trying to keep up with already grounded photographers.

XOXO

Mirror | Welcome Home |

Mirror

To look in the mirror daily to only think of all the things I am grateful for and blessed.
Attending my first homecoming for a family friend has me really thinking about all those days I looked in the mirror and have been grateful for the life I have been blessed. We welcome home our dear friend Jeremy today and so thankful for the amazing admiration the men and women who step up and deploy for their country.

To think the day will soon come my own husband will be asked to step up and I will have to wait and welcome him home with loving arms I am not sure I can imagine until it happens. But I am thankful we were able to welcome Jeremy home, Uncle Jeremy as our kids call him and so happy to have been able to capture one photo. As much as I photograph homecomings for other families, today was just a different emotion of being happy a friend came home safe.

My photo today is the mirror image of what I see daily and honor so much!

Welcome Home Marines!

Wish I took a photo of my husband and his long time friend. But a long flights with many lay overs and needing rest. We sure enough understood he need to get some much need R&R. :)

Small Details

Small Details

Sorry I am a day behind on this challenge, I admit I totally suck at it lol. But overall I am making sure I get these photos and blogs going as my time is permitted with my kid’s lol.

Life is full of small details and details that for many will open their eyes to a world of fun. My world is watching my kids grow and just the little things they do brings so much joy in my heart and a learning experiences I just can’t put in words.
I watch the details they bring to life, their laughter, their whines, their tears and simply taking the time to help bathe them for bedtime. There will be a time I won’t be allowed to giggle with them, wash their hair, and play cars with them in the bubbles. Kids grow fast and those very small details of playing with bubbles are part of an experience I try to lock in my memory bank of details.

Then I have my oldest daughter (who wanted to be faceless lol) who is going to be a teenager come next month. I can’t do those sweet things with her like I am currently am able to do with Ian and Liam. But we have our moments where we share something so small to others, that the details form a special place in my heart. Like going to Starbucks and just chatting about the day! Small details, those are the moments as a parent I want to lock forever!

Ian wanted to pose his new dance move for me! Rare when he ask for a picture and I didn't not frown away to take this shot. Melts my heart!

My sweet Liam, full of life and full of character

My soon to be teenager Taylor! She is an amazing daughter; we have our good and bad days. But she will always show her tender heart when family bond is needed.

XOXO
