When
I get to meet families it really helps me think about what is important and
what I can give to families. Not just memories on print or a disc, but a heart
that cares and a mind that is willing to listen. Where I can tell you who they
are and what their stories are. To me this why I love my job!
I
like you to meet the Leuthartd family! I had the pleasure of giving them their
family portraits at Christmas time last year when I had PCS back to Camp
Pendleton. Meeting they are such a sweet couple and let me tell you Ava she is
just a sweet, sassy, loving & gorgeous little girl. I got to meet their
extended family that came to visit from Minnesota and they were such were such
a sweet family.
But what makes them really touch my heart is because of this: I had the honor to do their maternity/family portraits. Tonia made announcements with the photos we planned to say SURPRISE we are having another baby! Lord I am so happy for them. Such a huge honor! But that’s not what touches me; it’s that with this session it was also their family pre-deployment portraits. Zach will be deploying Tuesday and returning home possible in the nick of time to see Tonia deliver or a bit after. I’ll admit, when that time comes, I will cry-because I found that Tonia, Zach & Ava have become good friends and I like to think of my clients as very special people in my life.
So remember to kiss your love one’s tonight, hug them a bit tighter, and don’t every let a second go by without telling them you love them.
So Zach, I wish you nothing but safe travels and please stay safe-return home to meet your new little one to be. Tonia, you are such a strong woman & I know you have such amazing supporting friends and family who will keep you busy as time goes by. If you need anything, let me know I am always happy to make a midnight run for ice cream or to just help when I can.
Their
Maternity announcement… Their family was super surprised and I had a blast
capturing this special moment.
Now
will Ava be a big sister to a little brother or sister?! hehehehe
